It’s a fairly new tradition, but a great one for the Bixby Knolls community.
Come out and enjoy holiday music and hot chocolate as we light the Bixby Knolls Christmas Tree & Hanukah Menorah at First Fridays

At the fountains of Nino’s Italian Restaurant
3835 Atlantic Avenue, Bixby Knolls
When:
6:000pm – Music & Entertainment Begins
6:30pm – Tree & Menorah Lighting
6:30pm – First Fridays Begins – Hop on the Big Red Bus
First Fridays always feature a variety of music performances and the the tree and menorah lighting will feature live theater, carolers & street urchins from the LB Shakespeare Company, “Family Night” in the local restaurants, holiday hair designs, card making, art exhibits and art bazaars.
And if you don’t know what to buy those special people in your life, help support our local businesses by doing some of your holiday shopping on right on Atlantic Avenue this Friday night. There are lots of great shops and specialty stores to choose from.
You Can Even Help By Donating Decorations:
It’s a community tree, so the Bixby Knolls Business Improvement Association is encouraging everyone, from area businesses, schools and residents, to bring some tree decorations. Feel free to bring imprinted ornaments or handmade treasures. Let everyone know what Bixby Knolls means to you. Ornaments can either be dropped off at the BKBIA office at 4313 Atlantic Avenue prior to December 4, or brought to the tree lighting ceremony on December 4th.
Come on out and help Bixby Knolls create the best Christmas Tree in LA County.
