Ever wonder why you need a Buyers Agent to help you find your next home?
Judging from a recent secret shopper survey, it would appear that unless you have a Buyer’s Agent advocating for you full time, your just not going to get the information you need.
Here are a couple of summarized points:
Over 50% of listing agents responded to requests after 24 hours and over 30% didn’t return any information.
For email results it was even less, with nearly 70% of listing agents not responding to email inquires. (Seriously, what century are we in, should we fax our requests)
By far the most interesting stat is that the vast majority over 70% of brokers didn’t ask the caller about their specific needs.
The next time you are in the market to purchase a home, the first step should be finding a Buyers Agent who will help you get the information and listen to your specific needs.
